The Invisible Fence
Droplets of moisture on a fence
A fence that defines the border of my new home
Home is still relevant in my heart
Despondent and abundant are emotions and lies
Beauty is true home, and I have my revelries
Walking along the fence the frost is thick
A chilled blanket of sanctity and pariah
My dog’s nose covered in a bit of the frosty snow,
Is beauty incandescent.
I love my home, I savor it
Both on this land and in my heart
