Circle

Awaiting a circle

That surrounds me in comfort

Encompass me in your roundness

Drown me in your thin and opaque walls

And in you I find myself

Protected, alone

Yet aware and in solitude

I discover my body, my cells

They awaken within the security

Of your boundaries

And round and soft is your shape

Holding lenient all that I am

In loving comfort I am apprehended

Peace enters through the cracks

Yet you are whole

Around me

Ever substantial, ever sturdy

And I am alone

But I am not lost

I am found and awake in this cell

As light penetrates the walls to find me here

Tangential, Unencumbered

Loving, withheld

Expanding and found.
