I will follow you. I will listen and be more aware of your presence. I am so grateful to have found you, God, and I cannot wait to see where I will be led by listening to your everlasting wisdom and truth. There is so much to be grateful for in this life. When I wake in the morning I look around and I can’t believe that I have such a sweet little home, a loving husband and such beautiful dogs. I find that I am able to write in my journal, do yoga, walk the dogs and then move onto something greater like blogging and/or mowing the lawn. Here I am, just as I am. Life is utterly simple and utterly unimaginably beautiful in its complexity.

I can’t describe fully how my life has changed since I started following Jesus. Though, I have come clear to the truth that I am loved and that I have so much to be grateful for. I may have frowned on such a thing in the past, but now I do not worry about that because the truth that I have been shown about God’s love is so much greater than any criticism I could encounter for following God. The truth is that if you are kind and open minded, people don’t really judge if you are not imposing your beliefs on them. We do not need to do this if we are truly listening to and following God. All I need is to live by example and then folks might see how good God has treated me by being faithful to him. There is no reason to criticize when everything that one is seeing is positive and love.

My path now is to continue praying and staying true to course. There are so many things that I can do that vary in complexity, and God does not leave my side. I feel that embraced by his love, there is no escaping and this feels epic. I am beginning to see that I am truly special and gifted and that what I have to offer are things that God has created in me with his loving hands. If I am God’s creation then I am beautiful as well. At some point I must give back and give thanks. So thank you God for all of your blessings large and small. I am small and you are grand, yet your enormous beauty is in all of the little things and your eye stays true to observing every detail. Your profound love is inside of me and that makes me large despite my relative size to the universe. Large and small, small and large, we are one and all is golden and filled with light. Thank you.
